A buddy just gave me an old standard threaded lifting bar that lacked the star collars to secure the plates.
I thought I'd be able to use the star collars on my other bar but when I tried they were too tight to thread on.
They are not as big as Olympic but slight bigger than my other standard 1" set.
Is there another threaded standard like metric versus English that I should be looking at for replacement collars?
