Have any of you guys ever found a way to prevent the static build up issues with jersey's while riding? I have read some things on line that look promising like wrapping your transmitter in aluminum foil, rubbing your clothes with anti-static sheets, gel, moving your strap more towards one side than the other, etc.

Some clothing combos worse than others. Spit, then sweat. Yes dryer sheets rubbed on the layers help.

I started using the Scosche Rhythm+ (http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/05/scosche-antbluetooth-optical.html) HR sensor and I love it. Its great for running too. The only downside so far I've found is that its yet another device I need to make sure is charged - and worse, it has no battery indicator so it usually dies on me sometime during the week. Apparently its rated for 8 hours but I haven't really watched the amount of time I use it.
No need for sweat, and I leave it on my upper arm like DCrainmaker where I barely notice it.

I hear ya on another device needing attention for charge sake. I wish your unit had better battery life. For a non-chest strap type unit it seems to be the best offering out there yet.
