PSA: Chop shop got busted in Edmonds, WA

Just a little FYI that police napped a group that ran bike chop shop..Hope owners find their bikes back.

+1. Many times they walk and got slap on the wrist bc of loophole from law-makers. If they stole stuffs without weapons i.e "arm robbery", they don't get heavy punishment at all.

Remember there was a fencing ops on Capital Hill, Seattle in 2012. The owner was able to recover her custom Seven Ti from an ebay buyer from the East coast. The suspect was the renter in her neighborhood and was prosecuted but never got lengthy jail time either.

I think that house is about a mile from where I live. Same area where someone was busted a couple of years ago for having a puppy mill in her house. Decent area so the choppers were probably expecting no one to look for them in tat neighborhood.

Seattle Bike Blog has a pic of all the bikes that were recovered. Mostly low end mountain bikes and kids bikes.
