He is right about a lot of things. And he was right that I would be sorry if I sold my Strong. I have not yet had any inquiries on it and I am sort of happy. I took it down from the rafters today and pumped up the tires. I had to move the saddle forward a bit to approximate my Serotta position (Strong has a shallower seat angle and a mega setback post) and this thing really is a winner.

Is it possible to have too many good bikes?

It sort of is, but they are all paid for.

No, you can't have too many good bikes, but you can have too FEW good days.

I've been appreciating my Strong this past week, too. I put on some new bars and Conti 4000 25's. They roll well, they're cushy, and seem to be just the thing for plowing through all the grit that's still on the side of the roads here in the Tundratowns.
