Super Narrow HG Chain?

I needed a new chain, and ordered an Ultegra CN-6600 Super Narrow HG 10-spd chain. (The standard width was out of stock, and I need a new one for Battenkill.) My other Shimano chains get installed with a SRAM connecting link, but I wonder if this will be an issue with this "Super Narrow" model.
Anybody out there do this successfully?

I don't think there are two widths of 6600 chain...the one you bought just has Super Narrow in the description. Same width as all other 10 speed Shimano chains.

10 speed Shimano is 10 speed Shimano. Watch direction if needed.

So it turns out I was looking at CN-6701 (out of stock), which is asymmetric/directional, versus the CN-6600 (same price, 30 grams heavier, but I'll have it tomorrow.)
They make a point of it being not compatible with 9-speed drivetrains (was 6600 was the first 10-speed Ultegra line?) so maybe the "Super Narrow" designation was to serve as a warning.

I've been told (but haven't tried it yet) that 11sp chains work great on 10sp drivetrains.

I've got a 600-level* chain for my otherwise 10sp XTR build. I'll report back after I've gotten a bike built up and have ridden it a bit.

*they've gone to 900/700/600 nomenclature for the new-new 11sp stuff instead of 9000, etc

Just a word, 10s chains are 10s chains. 6600 isn't directional, 6700 are(as are 5700 and 7900).

'Some' say the next number of speeds 'up' work with lower, 10s chain with 9s system, 11s with 10s but.... Matching speeds will work the best and cost the least.
