looking for a waterproof/breathable shell with some stretch.
i have shorter arms with big shoulders so if i size properly to my torso the arms are always super baggy. really tight thru the chest if i size to proper arm length. i think a stretch material would alleviate this, but i can't seem to find a good performance based one, mostly casual wear. i'm fairly certain they can't put the goretex membrane on a stretch material.

For biking or for other activities? For biking the rapha pro team softshell is really nice: http://pages.rapha.cc/stories/pro-team-softshell-jacket

You might want to look at shells for other sports like golf, where the fit is less likely to be lean and long.

You need a Polartec Neoshell based jacket.

Have a look at Westcomb or Rab, to start.

Also, maybe shoot an email to Lou @ Foxwear.net ...he makes all things Polartec...to your specs...at VERY reasonable prices.
