Would someone be able to tell me if a da lock ring will work with a Phil track hub? Thanks!

Yeah, it will work.

Funny I can't get it to thread properly and figured I should stop before I ruin the hub.

IIRC (it's been a while) Phil lock rings use Campy threading instead of ISO so a DA lock ring won't work.

Should be 1.37x24

I believe it will work. Worked on mine without any issue. Sucks because I use miche cog carrier system and Phil lock rings don't work with that system.. Boooooo

Shimano and campy lockrings use different threading in the lockrings (are we talking about track hubs lockrings right?)... but I do believe the shimano lockirings came in campagnolo threading too but im not that sure because this is from my long time ago tracker era.

... by the way remember the lockring thread backwards in case you did not know (always good to remember that).

Ack! No.

Three track lockring threads:

ISO / English, most hubs: 1.29" x 24tpi
Italian, Phil and Campy hubs: 1.32" x 24tpi
French, Mavic hubs: 33mm x 1mm

Don't force a DA lockring on to your Phil hub. Also don't force *anything* on to your Mavic track hubs.

Yea. I checked earlier. Turns out I didn't use da lock rings on it. Phew. Thought I did. So no to dura ace apparently. Good to know that Phil is campy. Since my current campy one in a gipiemme track wheels is starting to break at the tool teeth.

Others beat me to it, but Phil Wood uses a Campy track lockring.

There are three lockring threading:

1. Japanese -- common to Shimano, Suntour, and all the other Japanese brands and most of the rest of the world.

2. Campagnolo -- common to Campy and Phil and found on a couple odd minor hubs.

3. Mavic -- French thread used on Mavic Comete and on scattered other Mavic track hubs. Except for the Comete, there isn't anything else that really uses it any longer.

Don't think so..the Phil lockring is ala Campagnolo spec's.

I have some extra Phil lockrings including some polished stainless ones made for Interbike. Those are pretty sharp, and are new and unused. PM me if you still need some.
