My book's not far off now, in the hands of the printer for final preparations. Might even have hard copies in a couple of weeks. I think it's a good book, an honest book, 196 pages, 172 in full colour, lots of large pics, format horizontal 12" x 8", laminated cover, apparently a very good quality silk paper for the interior. It's not a coffee table book, at least in my mind it isn't. For me it's a rich reference book full of dreams, something to be handled and thumbed through and looked at regularly, especially on rainy days. Retail price isn't finalized yet but looking at $40-$45. Not cheap, all the colour drove the price up but I think the result justifies all the photos. Obviously a highly biased opinion. There'll be a site with excerpts from the book and on-line ordering. I'll probably post some excerpts here also since the original impetus for the book came from various forum members, to whom I direct lots of thanks.

So to those who are looking forward to its arrival and to those who might be interested, it's not too far away now.

Cheers

Very cool, Hank.

Just out of curiosity, is it being published in the US or in France? (Or do the French know all that anyway, so is the target market American cyclists interested in riding options in the Alps ?)

Looking forward to it, Hank.

Will you also have an author signed opportunity? Hope so....

Colorado, small printing shop, specialising in books, good people.

Hey, I'll do better than that, I'll sign after a good ride together. Just one slight problem of course; the need to fly over to here. Good incentive, no, a ride and a book signed?

AWESOME!

Can you use this thread as the primary update, or have the mods post a sticky when it's done?
