Compass Cayuse Pass 26 true diameter

I recently ordered a pair of Cayuse Pass (26mm) tires from Compass bikes.
The tires are indeed pretty light, and mounted with ease. Looking forward to giving them a try.
I was however a little surprised that they measured only 24 mm across when mounted on "standard" width 19 mm rims.

Anyone had the same experience, and do Compass tires normally run true to size??

I've heard other reports of Compass tires running narrow. A friend has the Stampede Pass, which are labeled 32, but measure closer to 30.
