so it appears craigslist put a stop to noticraig and clalerts.
any other options for stalking items on cl?

Just set up Google Alerts to search for your term at the site:craigslist.org.

oh. i thought google stopped indexing craigs. last time i checked they just sent links to search result pages, not actual listings...

You can use IFTTT (ifttt.com) to do craigslist alerts for a search term too, I've used it a lot without any problems
