I got a nice set of those laced to 36h Campagnolo Record hubs.
Can't find a lot online about the rims.
Are they any good, suitable for clydesdales?
Thanks in advance!

This is the oldest version of the former importers website that I could find, and the tubular rim listed is the ST120.

With 36 holes, I'd imagine anything not super light would be ok.

I've seen these quoted at 440g per rim. At that weight they are up there with Mavic GP4 and Ambrosio Nemesis, both of which are fine for big boys. With 36 spokes they should be sturdy. Keep an eye on the driveside eyelets if these are on modern (highly dished) hubs as that is where cracks are likely to form.

I recall the Pulsar as being a really nice rim.
Similar to Mavic SSC-

Pulsars were the GP4s of the FiR line. Cheap, solid, strong, not that light. With 36H it'll handle a lot. They weren't really SSC type ($200 per pair for SSC vs $40 per pair for GP4s).
I used the Isidis (330g advertised) 28H, and I tried the Alkors (280g advertised) 28H. The Alkors were a bit flimsy at best and had an usually narrow tire channel.

Thank you all for the input.
I just cleaned them, basically removing the old glue and I would agree that they look fairly similar to my GP4s. Nice build though, even have the cork plugs installed ;)
Cheers,
