No, not the NAHBS. But the Berlin Fahrradschau! Took tons of pics of wicked cool bikes and spoke with a lot of custom builders, bike shops, and bike companies. I noticed that there were a ton of retro-styled city bikes. The likes of a Velo Orange or Rivendell build. Must have had almost 50% of the display bikes as touring/city bikes with fenders, and racks.

Wait a minute. You say you took tons of pics but show us none. What kind of sadistic individual are you? We're not asking for recorded conversation with builders, free T-shirts, or the deed to your house. All we ask for is pictures of these bikes of which you speak.

Is it open to the public?
Can't think of a better excuse for a trip to Germany again.

Mods, can we please close this thread?

There's no "pit-ches", that not only violates the user agreement but the very basic human decency.

Sorry for not posting pics fellas! But I haven't gotten them developed yet. :p:p

Can anyone tell me how to post multiple pics? For some reason, I can only post one pic per thread. TIA.

Yeah right! You think we were all born before the digital age, literally...

You can post multiple pics through "linking" them using the icon that looks like Mt.Fuji on your toolbar or use "manage attachments" where you attach multiple pictures directly through your computer.

i still say we temporarily "downgrade" his status to "junior" member where he can't post on the Classifieds, but reinstate as soon as he "develops" his pics, what y'all think? :bike:

Here is my Flickr page that I just set up so all 106 pics can be seen. Please spare me the suffering of stoning, keelhauling, or racking. ;)

(Gomango-thanks for the offer but I decided to start Flickr. Good to see ya on the forums!)

Very cool. Soooo much better than our "show" in Toronto.
Nice to see all the Tommasinis. That Canyon has me intrigued.

Venue just looked like a warehouse?

It was a convention hall of sorts.

The Tommasinis were sweet. The Canyon Aeroad SLX was bad azz. Pretty dang affordable too. An ultegra 11 equipped for €3200. Frame set for €2700.

But my fav was purple haze Eddy Merckx single speed with mustache bars.

Yep, so true!

I tell ya, retro styled city bikes seems to be all the rage now. I do like them too. I think Grant Peterson (last name correct?) from Rivendell was way ahead on his outlook for bikes. Seems almost half the bikes were that style of bike.

Well alright! You promise to behave yourself from now on...

Heh TJ,

Maybe I just missed them, but any pics of the new Bixxis model?

Any close ups?

I don't know the brand Bixxis, but I don't recall seeing it. I'll go through the show program, and brochures And will post info on it if I see it.
