Wow that picture in the article you posted seems to show his handlebars at the exact moment they broke off! Anyway they are at a WEIRD angle to the headtube and rest of the bike!

Anyway they are at a WEIRD angle to the headtube and rest of the bike!Correct me if I'm wrong, but the handlebars look fine to me. As you will notice, his bike is leaning a fair amount to his right, even though his body is pretty straight -- which makes the bars look at a odd angle to his body.

Kevan's right. That was earlier; different set of cobbles.
He was in about 10th place when he veered.
Between GH and TH, who has had more spectacular mishaps? For me it's a tie.
