Friends,

A good friend of mine from Southern California who is attending Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO was just in an accident yesterday on campus and sustained significant injuries. He was hit by a car driven by a student at the university while he was on his bike.

Since I am not licensed to practice law in MO, I would appreciate any referrals to a good personal injury attorney in and around the St. Charles St. Louis area, particularly one with experience handling bike accidents.

I thank you in advance for any help/referrals you can provide.

Off the top of my head I don't know any, but will ask around. In the meantime, you could look around here:

I'll see if I can remember my password, and if you like I can ask there. (Let me know.)

Maybe an email to mobikefed.org might yield some suggestions?

I will ask the director of BWorks St. Louis, as well...

If the student has no assets and minimum insurance coverage is this a case where a lawyer is likely to be able to be much help?

Apparently, the student has coverage through his dad's policy. Policy limits not known yet.

The only thing I got so far was Michelle Funkenbush...she handled the Sunset Hills Mayor debacle.
