Noticed on the tube the other day TV's was on Colnago's CX frame in stage 2 of Paris-Nice. Very flat stage. Why not C60 or V1-r?

Saw the same thing and couldn't figure out why. I always thought the CX was more of a "comfort" frame like a Roubaix. The chain stays on the CX look awful IMO.

You will see Europcar Team riding the CX Zero, V1-R and C-60 Colnago frames this season. It's the rider's choice but the CX Zero is usually for the Spring races and ideal for Paris Roubaix and they used it on the cobbled section of last year's TdF. The V1-R being the lighter and most aero will be for all-around and mountains. There will be some that prefer the ride and feel of the C-60.

Voeckler has had some nice rides in his career. First on Times, then Colnago.

You could do a lot worse.

I just held what I thought previously was a bulky chunky 2015 SR11 crankset (and shifters, love the new hoods!) in my hand the other day. Gotta admit that thing and the group in general is bad ass.

When I was watching stage 2 last night with Voekler and that other guy off the front, I noticed the CX designation on the top tube and wondered about that, and my wife glanced at the TV and said "that guy's bike is too small for him." I'd have to say on appearances, she's right.
