Alvin Lee and Ten Years After epitomized an earthier side of the music world to me when I was entering college in 1970. "I'd Like To Change The World" was what we all wanted to do at that time, and his passing sort of symbolizes that with all the crap going on in the world, we haven't really been successful in changing anything. Damn.. this is making me feel old!

He passed away a year ago.

I saw TYA in concert after Woodstock. It had gotten to the point where they opened with "I'm going home" to get it out of the way so people would listen to the rest of their set.
