Good morning guys,

For Passover this year, the family will be galavanting in Saratoga Springs. We'll be staying at the Gideon Putnam Resort - http://www.gideonputnam.com/

The address is: 24 Gideon Putnam Road, Saratoga Springs, New York, 12866

Can anyone recommend 3 routes, between 75k and 100k, with moderate climbing?

Thanks!

That may be what I end up doing, but I prefer interacting with people about their rides.

That's not terribly far from the Battenkill course. Some great roads on that route.

Ray and Kelly Bedford and Bill McDonald are all up in that area. You might shoot them a PM and see what they have to say.

Hopefully these will keep you busy. All have full cue sheets.

I suggest including the Saratoga Battlefield in your ride and the Mohawk Hudson Cycle Club, MHCC, has an online ride list. Have fun and if you go through Albany on your way please stop by Savile Road and say hello!

I second the Battlefield tour and surrounding countryside, there are many suitable quiet roads in that area of Saratoga county.

As a former Saratoga resident, I second all of these rides. If you have a car, check out some rides leaving Greenwich, about a half hour away in Washington County, also, although the roads will be awfully dirty from winter treatment until mid to late April.

This is an excellent Indian restaurant if you like that that sort of thing.
The spinach with Indian cheese is delicious.

I see a Paceline Group ride in the offing.

The Battlefield is a fun place to ride semi car-free. There is great riding in the area outside of the park in Saratoga and Washington Counties. Just bring your bike and let us know when you will be arriving.

There are lots of options from the Gideon Putnam. I belong to the Mohawk Hudson Cycling Club and one of our members leads numerous rides from the there. You can also go to the ride with GPS website and search the Saratoga Springs area. It is a great area for riding and yes, the Saratoga Battlefield is a good option.
