Can I use these on a regular old GXP bb?
It says you have to use a "wide" clamp on fd adaptor with them...
What the hell is this nonsense all about?

Over time Q factors have gradually gotten more narrow and for many folks this is a good thing. For some however it gives hip or knee issues. Usually these guys mess with pedals/cleats to move the foot out some but it's a royal PITA.
Maybe this works better? It certainly is more simple than messing with pedals and long axles.
