Is the S2 system only applicable to braze on dérailleurs or clamp on as well?

It's really not that clear on their website or any third party sites.

Thanks,

Jon

I think that from 2015 on there are no more clamp on FD's for at least chorus and up. You will need an adaptor clamp. The S2 FD's are for bikes that have a flexible FD braze on. There is a brace that stabilizes the FD against the seat tube in order to reduce flex and improve shifting.

Like the shimano post, S2 has a little lever to push against the frame for those frames with flexy brazeon tabs. Cervelo comes to mind. Even tho only brazeon front ders with clamp, not required with clamp on.
