Brooks leather handlebar wrap.

I am awaiting the arrival of my Kirk Terraplane and was thinking about what color bar tape/wrap to use....

Well, the thought occurred to me, why not try the Brooks leather bar tape in honey color as it would match the "Creamsicle" paint scheme that I am having done (orange with cream colored panels).

I am going to use a D/A seatpost (silver in color), a Thomson stem (also silver in color) as well as a handbuilt D/A -O/P wheelset with silver spokes.

So, any thoughts opinions or idea's for bar tape? And, what are your thoughts on the Brooks leather bar tape? (btw, I will probably use a Brooks B17 in honey color).

in a couple of weeks.....my Kirk shipped from JB Thursday, I'm putting the Brooks Leather on to match the Swallow.

I want to cry when I hear of all the Brooks stories , Steve its time for a cardice saddle bag ?? I am thinking of it for the Uniscasi :)

I remember DBRK and DirtDigger specifically as having commented on this (and even provided comparisons with the Fujitoshi tape that Jitensha has) and some others chimed in as well--do a search in the gallery forum

I recently bought a Wojcik cyclocross bike from a forumite. You can see the pix here (http://http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=15299&highlight=wojcik)

I've made a few minor mods on the bike, someday I will get pix up.

I've found the tape very comfortable. Mutes vibration nicely, not overly thick or spongy, and looks really classy, especially with the Brook saddle.
