Martin Davalos chooses the former...and he rides a Husky.
Probably helps in the whoops

Road miles yesterday, temp in mid 20's F. Wind chill well below 0° F today… so...

Rollers for 50 min out in the garage. Got some warmth going after the first 10 minutes.

Certainly beats a trainer in the basement. IMO.

That's the coolest thing I've seen this week.

Thanks for sharing.

Fancy myself a rollers man, too.

What little I ride a trainer, which is only with groups, I am reminded that being on a trainer is in no way like riding a bike. I'd rather lift weights.

Bought a set of E-Motion Rollers this fall.
Definitely prefer them over anything I'd tried before. The little bit of focus that it takes to maintain balance is great and it has, to me, a better feel than anything I'd previously tried.
I tend to keep the bike off the roads even on the milder days during the winter knowing how much salt they use.

+1 on the E-motions. As I've said here before, best money I've ever spent on cycling stuff.

Now you've got an excuse for n + 1… you need a salt/snow bike. ;)
