For those of you who run H Plus hard anodized (or any other) do you run regular brake pads or is there a better option to keep the anodization from wearing off. They look so nice as is!

A recommendation from buddy has me using swisstop yellow and I've had no problems (as of yet) and I've bot about 1000 miles on them so far.

I've also read/heard that swisstop greens are preferred for these.

I have used campy, kool stop and now swisstop blue.

I think the annodizing is pretty strong until you ride in the rain, grime gets in btw pads and brake track and you get a nice big scratch that goes around the whole rim

I agree that the dark surface does look pretty sweet. Mine lasted for well over 1K miles, but only took one 70 mile ride in the wet to turn the braking surface a nice even silver.
It's gonna happen eventually. Fortunately, the rims are pretty inexpensive.

Same. One wet ride and it's gone. (I like it better with the silver brake track)

My first ride on my tb14s was a rain ride. Didn't even think about it when I went out. Looked at the bike after and was shocked by how different it looked haha. It's going to happen. Don't fight it. If you attempt to.... Kool stop salmon's.

I built up a set for a friend, then we rode the local 20mi loop in the rain. The ano was completely gone by the bathroom stop at mile 10. It looks cool, but its oh so fragile.
