Is it possible to use a PowerTorque wavy washer on an Ultra Torque crank?

Never tried it but I suspect it's too fat, to thick, to much compression. Why?

If you need an UT wavy washer I will drop one in the mail for you. I have a bunch of them in my tool box.

Picked up a UT C/set that was missing the correct washer.

I could use one of those wavy UT washers out of your toolbox.
It'll sure save me from a very frosty -30c ride to the LBS this morning.

You are 100% correct - you might end up with the washer squashed plat and still no float, depending on how "in tolerance" the BB shell is. PT washer is designed to work differently although it is of course doing the same job ... => it's designed to sit external to the cup.
