And wondered if it were simply the dreams of an enthusiast.
Anecdotally, cycling seems relevant in the lifestyle choices of many Americans, but the entrenchment of "American sports," regardless of the majesty of American cycling's past, would be difficult to overcome. Are people becoming less enthralled by the big 4 sports? Is it just a matter of time? Have we gotten over the Lance debacle enough to move forward?
As much as I'd love to see it, I don't see it happening in the next 20 years.
