Disc Brake Pads for Road

Any thoughts/advice on getting some new pads for my Avid BB7 SL Road brakes? Current ones are fine (original pads), but placing an order this weekend for some other stuff and want to grab a spare pair for when these wear out. I've seen some different opinions out there, but not sure which way to go.

These will be on a bike mainly used for commuting on a bike path, some gravel rides when i can fit them in, and a few long 1 day gravel rides (ie. D2R2).
