This Sunday MTB Hall of Fame inductee Marilyn Price will be holding her annual fundraiser for Trips for Kids (http://www.tripsforkids.org/). This charity puts at-risk kids onto mountain bikes and takes them for rides. If you don't know Marilyn, sainthood would be a start, but would not be a sufficient honor for this incredible woman.

Previous iterations of the event were held at a brew-pub, but this year it will take place in the new Marin Museum of Bicycling/Mountain Bike Hall of Fame (http://mmbhof.org/) in Fairfax. Attendees always include the "Who's Who" of Bay Area bicycling. (http://www.tripsforkids.org/marin/news/pressreleases/2015-01-29_TFK-17thBash.pdf)

Even though the museum is not officially open, many of the displays are in place. In addition to a collection of historic mountain bikes, there is a major collection of 19th Century machines. Even if you don't give a rip about the charity or the relatively famous cyclists in attendance, you should check out the bikes.
