I've got a frame on the way and cannot find anything anywhere about the years the Road Logic has been in production or how to identify. Hoping someone knows something or has a link. Thanks.

Can't help you specifically, but you can do some searching in the Internet archive http://archive.org/web/web.php. Just plug in http://ritcheylogic.com/ and you can look at their webpages over the years.

There's a Ritchey rep that answers questions over a RBR. Check in the "manufacturers" section : http://forums.roadbikereview.com/forum.php#manufacturer-forums

There may already be a thread regarding your frame. Good luck.

Is that the paint you have? I might be able to find it in an old Excel catalog.

They were cobalt blue 1996-1998 or so. Seems like they were then red before the paneled paint scheme. .

(Edit) They were available in red and cobalt at the same time. The photo is from the 1999 Excel catalog. Yours evidently has Excel team paint. Later in 1999, red and cobalt were replaced by yellow. Yellow and Team Excel continued to be offered into 2002. In 2003 Excel was selling the Breakaway and Swiss Cross, but the Road Logic was no longer in the catalog.

Have been a road logic fanatic since 1997.

Here is a good resource.

I had a cobalt-blue (with white decals) Road Logic that was built in 1998. It had a threaded fork steerer. Since yours is threadless, I would guess that it was made in the early 2000s.

I bought a NOS version of that fork as a placeholder for a used frame with the intention of ordering a custom steel replacement. 5 years later I'm still using the Ritchey fork. Light, lively, good clearance, nice match for a tig steel frame, it's not a unicrown and it's not straight legged. Love that fork! Don't you dare replace it with some 1 inch carbon monstrosity

Hey guys- thanks so much for the feedback! I use the Tapatalk app to view this forum and hadn't gotten any notifications that anyone had responded until now.

I'm really bummed about the dent, but I'm pretty sure that I can either get it fixed or just build it up anyways. Should be delivered today, so I'll know more then.
Thanks again!!

That won't fail until you are 136 years old. Or you could get it rolled. Then it will look nice, too.
