Girlfriend cooked up 11 (NOTE: Not 12, because of the 12th Man) cupcakes while I was doing intervals on the trainer earlier.

For drinks, I'm putting together a variation on a Penicillin cocktail (http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2009/11/time-for-a-drink-penicillin-cocktail.html) but instead of using a blended scotch whiskey, I'm using an American Bourbon.

For me, the super bowel dosent mean anything except NASCAR is right around the corner.
I am not even sure who is playing. Today, I am watching the snow fall and Dukes of Hazard marathon.
Enjoy all you football fans.

Did you remember to grab tissues for wiping away tears of grief at the end of the game?

Nice job, MattTuck.

Today was a gym day so I hit it hard early. The rest of the day is for fun. Lots of bad food (and some good food) and plenty of beer. Tomorrow is a day off the bike and with the snowstorm I am working from home, so plenty of time to recover.

Intervals on the trainer, while my wife made her special recipe turkey buffalo meatballs!! Just ordered my wife one of the peloton indoor spin bikes and if this nasty weather continues I might be tempted to give it a go!!

(Good) Greek take out.
12 of Yuengling.
12 of Miller Genuine Draft.
Goodfellas/Casino/Godfather (the first)/Wreck It Ralph/Law and Order, Forensic Files marathon, kitten bowl on the flatscreen(s).
70's/80's/90's Metal/Rock and Roll. Loud!
Snowblowing (later this evening) the driveway, and the neighbor's ("affectionately" (cause, well, I like breathing, and my street plowed) called the Don) driveway.
Buying/building a lugged carbon superbike.
And that is a Sunday up in here.
Football, what be that?

Amen brother.

Man, I see a crowd losin' their religion over stuff like this, I know that's a sport not for me.

But if you can get away from the mass market glorification of player personalities and the violence, in fairness it can actually be a pretty cerebral sport when seen from the vantage point of the play constructs and how plays develop when seen as an ensemble. Viewed from the press box macro level it looks very different than the micro match ups of individual battles which is how TV hypes the excitement in how its coverage displays to the audience. The speed of the hit is much more intoxicating to the viewer than the sequential run through of a play which actually happens quite slowly in real time.

I always saw football as an ideal microcosm of pre-industrial capitalism. Go anybody but Pats.

You're living the life, man.

You better send me some pics of whatever lugged carbon superbike you bought...

And no Super Bowl for me - when the Steelers are out, the season might as well be over.

Nice pairing, Chuckroast! What, no small batch cheese puffs made with Humboldt Fog goat cheese? Who makes the stout?

Matt- Never had a Penicillin but the ginger and peat combo makes me want one.

Superbowl with the in-laws (whom I love). Peach pie and vanilla ice cream and plenty of Deschutes Mirror Pond pale ale! It's just too bad that my step mother in-law is terribly misguided in her love of the Patriots.

Go Hawks! (I'm a Raiders fan but I hate the Patriots)

Patriots should only have one Super Bowl
The tuck rule lets them in for #1 and Kasays gaffe

Let's them win #2

It's been a tough 11 years for me too since Gannon threw three TDs to the Bucs

Hey guys, it's this one (local to KC but I think it has some regional distribution). Boulevard Smokestack series.
