Squeaky noise from crank.

Sometimes, at varying points into a ride, my crank will start squeaking. Sometimes it won't squeak at all. I think it is the crank. It only happens when pedaling. Any ideas?

I'd check out your pedals/cleats/shoes. "Squeaks" don't usually come from metal on metal. I'd throw some light oil on your pedals/cleats and see if that helps temporarily.

Another way to check is to ride your bike with regular running shoes just around the block. If there is no squeak you at least know where the problem lies.

well i think bb the cups are moving a bit
de install and install with grease on the treads
first clean the treads on bouth sides
also everty where it can me disasambled and grease after words that part
