Campy front derailleur..question

Is there any difference between a campy 9 and 10 speed front derailleur? I see some advertized as 9-10 compatible and wonder if they are trying to get rid of older 9 speed stock, or if there is really no difference in function?

No at all except a plastic thing for 10 speed narrower chians.

just to clarify, you can purchase the little plastic thingy,
and install it in a 9sp derailleur, and make it work for 10sp.

It's part # DP9805 from quality bicycle, any shop should be
able to order it for you, for about $10
