ok wizards. now is the time to generate the finish of paris roubaix.

i see george watching boonen take off with 40k to go and waiting for bruyneel to tell him to go...but the batteries are dead in his ear radio so he stops to watch a tv on the roadside where phil ligget asks why george stopped to watch tv...he should be chasing boonen....so he starts to chase
as boonen enters the track solo on the split screen.... but 2 french guys place in the top 25...so all is good in fr.

might happen differently but might not.

Was Georgie boy dissin' Leif Hoste after Flanders?

The cyclingnews.com interview made it sound like George was ready to
attack, feeling like he was having the best legs of his life, when out of
nowhere, Leif takes off on the Valkenberg...Georgie left wondering what
just happened.

If you believe it, George must be really looking forward to Roubaix.

it sounded something like ..." if i was the one up there the finish would have been different..."

yea, you would have been second instead of hoste.

It will end in a three-up sprint, with Iban Mayo nipping Michael Rasmussen and Jose Rujano. :)

my hope? that GH proves me wrong.
that he animates the race and wins
based on cat-like stealth, and drug-like
strength.

growth hormone dosn't stand a chance.
PVP shoulders Boonen into a ditch
and puts his frame pump in GH's wheel
all but four kilo's to the velo so he arrives alone.

certain forumites are referring to Hincapie as "growth hormone" -- could someone explain?

I don't know who is going to actually win, we all know the favorites. What I want to see is snow, sleet, vicious wind, spectators with ice picks to chip their beer out of the cup.

Am I alone?

No, not alone. Except for the fact that you can't tell who anyone is, I like Roubaix best when you can't tell who anyone is for all of the mud.
