Did Serotta ever do bullet caps on the end of their stays? Saw this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Serotta-Colorado-Legend-Titanium-Ti-56-Cm-Bike-bicycle/111564371208?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%2 6asc%3D28794%26meid%3Dea4f584367444780822534ce7217 63c3%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D1615 69133299&rt=nc) on eBay and claims it is a legend and I doubt it very much. Not looking to buy this, it just looks like a scam.

see my recent thread on an ebay legend. then ask seller to provide serial number. i am not sure but i think i remember that type of dropout stay ends on the very early legends or at least something similar as the first generation dropout. but i am not a legend expert. perhaps dave kirk can offer some guidance.

This has been floating around on NYC CL and eBay for a while. There was a post here about it last month: http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=159934

Seems that it could be an imposter...

Those screwed-on cable stops look odd/cheesy. I can't see s-bend chainstays or tapered seat tube. Does not look like a Legend to me. Maybe it's a legend in his mind?

Saw your thread and did not want to hijack it. This is no legend for sure. Looks like an early litespeed.

I've owned two legends and neither had those drop outs nor did the tubes meet the drop out in that fashion.

I don't know what that is but one thing i can say for sure is that it's not a Serotta. I like how one of the photos shows it without the Serotta headbadge and in another it has it. It's like he added it for the photos.

Could be a fine bike - I have no idea. But it's not a Legend Ti.

It's definitely not a Serotta and judging from the dropouts and welds it looks like a Litespeed/Lynskey. . .

Just like the Hardy Boys (I read as a kid) Paceline on the case again, and solved. I love this site, nobody, can get away, with nothing.

What kind of axel / QR is this?
I have never seen anything like this...other than a roundhead bolt.

The skewer and seat collar are using Pinhead (https://www.pinheadlocks.com/store/en/) brand secure bolts.
