OT: Mmmm Crabs and Crab Pots....

It's that time of year here on the West Coast.

Saw this video and thought the folks here might appreciate the little bit about the making of crab pots. Ouch.

Mmmm, Dungeness crab! My absolute favorite seafood. Well, there's oysters too.

When we lived in the Seattle area we had a boat. Some of the best times were spent crabbing, hauling up the pot several times and selecting the two very best crabs of the catch, then cooking and eating them on the spot.

Oh yeah but the lobster you can get down there is really good and I'm not a big lobster fan.

Gorged on dungeness when I was in PDX for training last month. Still drooling at the memory ;-)
