Anyone riding this saddle on the road?

I have a core muscle (groin) injury, my doctor says...my favorite saddle, an older Flite Gel Flow, won't let me sit on the bike for more than 60 seconds. The Fite has a thinner section where it meets my injury- nothing nsfw, just the left side of my groin/inner thigh. My mechanic suggested the Pure V...

looked for something lighter and less fussy. My butt settled on the Pure V. Now on all 4 bikes. It just happens to work for me.

There are a bunch of models with different rails and different covers. I prefer the Pure V Pro with ni-cro rails and plain black top. Still comes with some rather loud white lettering on the back, but I'm over that.

The WTB website is showing new designs for the saddle I had not seen until just now. Not sure I like as much as the older design. Maybe time to buy an extra of the one I'm used to:

Seems Nashbar sell their own model called the SE = inexpensive:

I love this saddle. I have one on the full squish, hardtail, tourer/commuter and gravel grinder. It is a tall saddle compared to the Ti flite I run on the roadie; the only bike I've ever been truly vain about. I like the cushion(centruries never felt so good), the whale tail(when you need to stretch out, or sit and grind, yet it isn't scary to get behind),and the beak nose(keeps the line with out of the saddle technical riding). They make a Ti rail version and some other voodoo alloy, but I run chromo...since my bikes typically see lots of terrain abuse. They're also fairly inexpensive! Of course it all comes down to your comfort. WTB is a common test saddle kit at your LBS just to be sure.

Thanks for the offer. I took home the Rocket V today from performance...$25 clearance, before my discount. Waiting a few days to try it out. Thursday the rocket V is supposed to come in.

Thanks for the info. Actually, I think Performance has the Pure V at $30 clearance...we just didn't have any in stock today. Hopefully it comes in tomorrow and I'll pick up a few to try out.

Thanks everyone.
