In theory this product and company seems to be on to a very ingenious idea. Proprietary bolt head interface patterns to protect components on a bike from theft or parts removal while being locked up somewhere. They make bolts for bolt on hubs (Phil, Paul, Mack, etc), track nuts, quick releases, stems, seatposts, cranksets, and just about any other bolt on a bike.

However, I would like to know how well these actually work in practice. Anyone have any direct experience with these bolts and/or company? They are extremely costly, so I would love to hear user feedback before investing heavily in something like that.

I realize there are a few different companies doing similar designs (pitlock, etc), as well as generic tamperproof bolts, but the Atomic22 bolts look to be the best design, most refined, and each has a uniquely keyed interface so no two are alike (unless made to match together). A22 seems to have significantly more options than most other companies. They also did a collaboration with MASH a while back with a mash logo bolt interface design.

Any thoughts, experience, etc?

They look cool.
I am not too much into locking my bike up but, they look like a quality product.
