Can anyone help me out with wheel building dimensions for the 11-speed 105 rear hub? Looking for left/right center-to-flange measurements and spoke hole circle diameter.

Trying to build up an 11s trainer wheel, but can't seem to find any measurements online. I would like to order spokes at the same time and not have to wait for the hub to arrive, measure it and then make a second spoke order. (Yes, I am admittedly impatient)

Short of knowing the measurements, if you know what spoke lengths a 105 11s laced 32h 3x to an Open Pro needs, that would be equally useful.

Thanks!

Thanks, but I've already checked there, he has hardly and 11s shimano stuff in his database.

When in doubt, google search the hub model (5800) with the words 'center' and 'flange'

Gets you there 95% of the time.

I re-used* the spokes and rim from an older 10sp wheel for my 'new' 5800 rear wheel. Seems I was 'off' about a mm per side. Oh well. It build up round and true so I'm not going to complain.

That usually works for me, in this case I kept finding the distance between the flanges (56.9mm) but not how far each flange is from center. :crap:

I'm not pro wheelbuilder, but Shimano hubs have had pretty much the same dimensions since 740X.

YMMV

I also replaced a 5700 hub with a 5800 and used the same spokes. No issues.

You're welcome. I just built up a pair of wheels with 5800 hubs and had the same question. I'm glad I could save you the trouble.
