Looking for help on this Titanium frame with S&S couplings. Any one can give me a read on this mystery frame. Could it be from China? No serial number on the frame. The head tube is tapered and has a BB30. Thanks

Could be XACD or carver ti.

The tapered head tube is somewhat unique for Ti bikes. Maybe this can offer someone more knowledgeable some insight on it.

There is a local builder in my area (Roark) that makes custom Ti frames, and they offer coupled models - but I don't think that that the tapered head tube is something that they do.

I got nothin'. No clue.

That looks pretty high-end to me. I'd say custom... maybe Dean or a smaller builder.

take and post a picutre of the serial number on the bottom bracket. That could give some clues.

I wish it had a serial number but no stamp on the frame for a number.

there was a Chinese manufacturer that had tapered headtubes that looked bigger on the top than on the bottom in their advertising picture. Lots of discussion on various forums about it. Anyway, this could be one of those

I would agree, it looks pretty nice, CaneCreek headset Ritchey stem. Craftsmanship looks top notch.

That's no Moots. Looks like a Montebecane that was Bilenky-d.

It does but they don't do hourglass headtubes.
