Can anyone tell me this:

Please see the bike for sale here: http://www.bikes.com/en/bikes/element/2013#/models/element-930

I want to switch out the FSA crank for my own M675 SLX crankset. The seller of this bike has stated that the BB is completely compatible with my crank - I can simply remove the FSA and plug in my SLX crank.

Is this correct? I have my doubts. I am a newbie to full-sus, press fit BBs, and etc.

Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, this is correct. Your SLX crank will fit. The bike you're looking at uses the FSA Press Fit Mega Exo bottom bracket. Here's what the FSA website says about compatibility:

"MEGAEXO BOTTOM BRACKETS FEATURING EXTERNAL BEARINGS

FSA’s 24mm spindle crank & bottom bracket system: MegaExo cranks are available for road and mountain applications and compatible with 68, 73, and 83mm English thread, 70mm Italian thread, and several press-fit bottom bracket standards. MegaExo bottom brackets are available in all thread standards and offer compatibility with Shimano cranks.

Here's the FSA webpage if you want to look for yourself: http://www.fullspeedahead.com/tech/
