We have to have a one-hour trainer class at the shop on Saturday. It's "bring your own trainer" so I'm not sure we'll get anyone. But if we do, here is the set list:

Start Me Up (Stones)
Spinning Wheels (BS&T)
Will It Go Round In Circles (Billy Preston)
Wheel In The Sky (Journey)
Let It Ride (BTO)
Ride (Vines)
Slow Ride (Foghat)
Hitching A Ride (Vanity Fare)
Ride Captain Ride (Blues Image)
Ticket To Ride (Beatles)
Low Rider (War)
Free Ride (Edgar Winter)
Ride Like The Wind (Christopher Cross)
Ride My See-Saw (Moody Blues)
See See Rider (Live) (Elvis)
The End (Beatles)

Comes out to 57 minutes, building from slow to medium to fast pace.

Feel free to suggest replacements, but stick to the theme!

whatever you do, PLEASE don't play Queen - Bicycle Race. They play that over the PA at the track sometimes.

slightly OT - oddly enough I just had an email discussion with one of the Suffer Fest minions regarding their music choices...

Would "Wagon Wheel" by Old Crow Medicine Show work?

How about Ghost Riders in the Sky? - Outlaws/J Cash,
or
Riders on the Storm - Doors
or
On My Way Back Home by New Riders of the Purple Sage
or
CC Rider, by my fav band - Grateful Dead

Gang Green! That's a band you don't see people mention often...I've got the Bud Skateboard 12" stashed away somewhere.

John...I don't suppose you were also at The Orpheum when they won The Rumble in '86, were you?

Strangely, I saw them again (after several times in Boston in the 80's) in '97 in Chicago opening for Stiff Little Fingers (very odd)! Springa (SSD), who was living in Chicago at the time, stumbled out on stage...fat...drunk...I was very sad.

Didn't see them at the Orpheum, but lots of other times at the Rat and the Channel. What a mess. Like the Replacements, but less talented! ; )

I don't get home often, but man, those are two places I miss/reminisce about often. Saturday matinees @ The Rat were everything to me, as a suburban teenager, in the mid to late 80's.

Mix of Slayer, Venom, Municipal Waste, OFF!, and other speed metal or hardcore/skate punk.

I love jazz, Grateful Dead, etc., but that stuff is way too soft for doing indoor workouts.
