I'm not far from there, a little farther than 15 minutes, but not much. PM or email me.

I'm an hour and half away from Cooper City too, the big rides down that way are the Saturday and Sunday Sheridan rides. But be carefull. there have been some big Indy style pile ups there. A hundred plus riders going 25-30mph in a small place can get pretty crowded, guard your front wheel.

Dang! How'd I miss this living in Orlando for 11 years (No! don't answer that :) ).

I'm going to have pull the old 80's vintage Gitane Track Standard out of the attic, clean it up and head down there for a ride. Haven't been on a track in so many years I've lost count.

Yep. I'm about 40 minutes south of the velodrome. I've been out there to look, but haven't had the courage to take my new Langster over there just yet. Seems like a very well-maintained track.

It's sounds like it's reasonably active. It's been brought up a bunch of times over on the bikeforums page.

Javier is that 40 minutes on the wheelset you bought from me or by car....Jeez I knew they were fast but I know where I shipped'em to and had no Idea they were that FAST! But then again they were under me and like I say...you can put earings on a pig and you've still got a pig.

manet - Wish I could help, but I'm about 150 miles or so north of the stadium, but it looks like there some other folks that nearby and willing to give him a ride on the wagon.

But trust me, your wheels are fast enough. Check them out:

The velodrome is about 5 miles from me. Our group the Weston Flyers(www.westonflyers.com) rides close by as do a number of other clubs.
