View Full Version : Head tube length on road vs CX bikes

I should be able to figure this out, but my brain has gone gooey on me from all the holiday food and booze.

Assuming all other measures are the same, does the longer axel-crown of a CX fork mean I should have a bit less HT to achieve the same position? Seems like the fork puts one up a bit higher, no?

Yes - you'll have to re-level your saddle too, and move it a wee bit forward.
Everything is connected atmo. It depends on how maniacal you choose to be.
Were it me, I'd ignore it all, install the fork, and just pedal.
