Great gifts I got from my wife: Zinn maintenance book, two issues of 'Cyclist' magazine, an issue of Mountain Bike Action, and a sports watch. And best of all a few weeks back the "Ok" to pick up a new to me dream MTB frame, a Moots Rigormootis!! A great Christmas for me overall. So how about my fellow Paceliners. What did you get??

Bought myself a Lynskey X-mas frame last month, and the GF got me a Fenix BC30 light I have been eying for a while. The only thing I didn't get that I asked for was decent cycling weather!

My brother in law got me the Bike Snob book
My wife's awesome! She got me:
A Twin Six Jersey,
A pair of running shoes,
A VIRB Elite, and
A MacBook Air (totally surprised me with this, as I've been using a crappy windows netbook for years now). It's my first Apple computer, and I love it!

American Giant heavy weight sweatshirt and a Bialetti espresso maker.

The American Giant hoody is nicer than any hoody I have ever owned.

That's a strange kit. Must be a mountain biker.

Anyway, I got a new helmet and a couple of gift cards for indoor skydiving.

He could have been a movie star-a star he was.

I read a book about him when I was a kid. Pretty amazing life he had. Still have an attraction to Spads, Sopwith Camels, Fokkers, etc.

The cycling related one was a Garmin 810.

Not many bike goodies this year, but I did get a R.L. Winston Boron III TH fly rod for steelhead and muskies.

I feel like I won the lottery, as it's the nicest fly rod I have ever owned.

Can't wait. :)

Received a generous gift card to Competitive Cyclist, which funded a set of Garmin Vector S pedals. Then I bought myself a set of Ksyrium Elite S wheels. So, yeah, it was a pretty good holiday for me.

Some wool cycling socks, a pedros vice whip, a chain cleaner and the book Bike Fit: Optimize your bike position (http://www.amazon.com/Bike-Fit-Optimise-performance-avoidance/dp/1408190303)

Though the thing I'm most happy with is probably the pair of hand made whiskey glasses from Simon Pearce (http://www.simonpearce.com/products/ascutney-whiskey), and a bottle of Ardbeg Corryvreckan.

What is the title of the book? Always liked WWI aviation. Those guys truly were daredevils. Rickenbacker seemed like a pretty cool guy from what I've read about him.
That photo looks like it was taken before the SPAD XIII days.

Hah, funny thing is that we do stockings secret Santa style. So my SIL got me a nice bottle of Ardbeg that was sticking out of the top. So good

Also, I caved and got myself a Rapha Transfer Gilet with their current sale because I need a heavier vest.

2 cycling books, including the Charlie Wegalius bio, park tool stuff, and a set of snowshoes. My friend also gave me his old trainer now that he has a new state of the art one with a designated big screen. My old magnetic is broken...

I got a Cambium C17. I've just done some light riding around town, but I'm liking it so far. I'm definitely looking forward to some longer rides once I get it adjusted correctly. I'm finding I need to tilt the nose slightly up and slide the whole seat forward a bit. Nothing too extreme, but changes I wasn't expecting.

Haven't ordered it yet but the wife and daughters are getting me a 1up rack. I think our trip to New York this summer finally won her over.
