has anyone used any AX lightness products? they are freaky freaky light. the designs look quite elegant, particularly their saddles. but golly gee batman, at their weights, how do they function and/or last? check it out:

I've seen then and know people who have tried them. They don't call them AX for no reason.

senor, their saddles are quite narrow. do they feel as narrow as they look? and does the carbon "flex" or "give" to create comfort? it's a little hard to picture what sitting on carbon might be like.

AX-Lightness Apollo user here for two years. I like it.

There is a bit of give but not as much as an Aliante which I have on the tandem.

They do have different models and widths, but I guess they are all kind of skinny. If you think the shape will work, go for it. If you like a flat top, you might want to consider a SLR carbon. Well, maybe not.

BD, you always find the interesting stuff. I'm beginning to think that you really want to try one of those funny things.
