gotta love australia based fyxo. bunch of cool stuff on their webpage, including some rockin photo galleries. i ordered a chainring on deep discount from them a few weeks ago and it arrived today with a cool sticker set. their chainrings are apparently being discontinued, but having used them before, are great quality rings for the 1/8th" segment. fyxo love!

I met Andy when he had the Fyxo shop in Melbourne a few years ago, and then again at the (so far one and only) Australian Custom Bicycle Show in 2012. Absolute top-shelf guy, sells great products. I'd love to get one of his custom builds one day.

And he has (or did have) a Llewellyn

Second time this early morning I've come across this company.

Note the "Fyxomatosis" frame sticker in the second shot of this beauty posted over in classifieds . http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eddy-Merckx-Cyclo-cross-CX-titane-bike-/271712240445?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f434fc33d

Had to search it to understand. Still not sure I do. Am I wrong or is their company and site the AUS equivalent of Rapha (which seems to attract a measure of scorn)? Sort of a commercial capitalization based on the association/appreciation of other's work which is then portrayed as a desirable life style and parlayed into selling quality product bearing their trademark. The biking equivalent of Patagonia I guess.

+1 on all of this. FXYO sells cool stuff and Andy has an excellent eye for aesthetics.

I just found out that chainrings are being discontinued, which means I put off getting some custom rings made at 86bcd until it was too late.
So if FYXO doesn't do custom chainrings anymore, is there anyone out there who does?
