My friend and I were parting out a bike and selling the items. We weren't too sure about the identity of this wheel set. So I turn to you lovely people for some help! Thank you.

this thread makes me uncomfortable.
But 30 days and 30 posts are hard!
I'll give it at shot: I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's a Campy Vento. You may want to Google that to confirm.
BTW, welcome to the forum. ;)

If you rotate the photo you can probably read that the wheel is a VENTO by Campagnolo. That thing attached to it is a cassette. Let us know if you have any other questions like what they might be worth. :rolleyes:
Oh boy! Here we go.:rolleyes::help:

That's a Shimano 105 hub laced to a wood tubular.

He's probably in Portlandia.:) That wheel even has 'slow releases'. Some guy's commuter.
First gen Campagnolo wheelsets, as wheelsets. Followed the Shamal, 1994/5 era, 8s, j bend spokes(became straight pull in 1996). Athena/Veloce hub vice Record hub. VERY burly wheels, last forever.

Is that a 60mm valve or are you just excited to be riding Campy?
