Watched NFL TV's doc on Michael Strahan last night - Defense play for the Giants and now host of Kelly & Michael. Not my typical cup of tea, but what an interesting guy.

When he was young he wanted a bike, a BMX bike. His family was military and his dad said "do work and pay for half and I will split the bike with you." The bike was $1,200 and was a Kuwahara Laserlite - mind you this was the early 80s.

He mowed lawns, tons of lawns, and got the $600 and then the bike.

Fast forward to present day and the man is HUGE - physically he's huge and he's a millionaire many times over. He still has the bike and even at his size still rides it around. It's awesome to see. He said he will never get rid of the bike.

The bike embodied hard work and means more to him than anything. If you get a chance, watch the documentary, but here is a quick write up in a separate news article.
