Flat bar brake lever recommendation?

I have an old steel road frame frame sitting in my garage that I am converting to a single-speed/fixed gear commuter bike. I also have an old MTN bike handlebar that I'd like to use. The handlebar has a 25.4mm stem clamp diameter, and a 22.2mm bar clamp diameter where you attach the brake levers.

I am looking for suggestions for a flat bar brake lever that is good for use with road caliper brakes. I have heard of people using BMX brake levers mated up to caliper brakes, but I have no experience with that coming from a roadie background.

Older, pre linear pull brake levers will work great.

The Tektro FL750 22.2 dia work great on road frames. I used a set for a flat bar set up I had on a Merckx. Folks will suggest mtn levers but they really look fugly on a road bike, get these you won't be sorry.

I, also, have Tektros squeezing Ultegra calipers on an older road frame with a city bar.

Works like a charm. Would recommend.
