Anyone have experience installing these? Not much online about installing these yet, but seeing that you're supposed to use the campy tool (UT-BB140). Dont really feel like dropping $200 and I'm thinking its not likely any of my LBS in the area have the tool.

Anyone install these cups with teh Park press? Any experience out there?

Thanks.

....any bearing or headset press will work, even a hardware DIY press. However, be sure to use Loctite 641 or 609 with Loctite Primer to set the cups, otherwise you WILL experience the dreaded press fit squeak and cup shifting. Lou

I'm using the Campy PF30 cups, installed as oldpotatoe recommended with lots of anti-seize but no loctite. Used standard headset press to install. Surprisingly, no creaking, movement, or any problems yet. Used for 3500 miles so far including lots of wet rides and races.

Saw that the literature says you have to use the campy tool, assumed there was nothing special about install, but wanted to confirm before I take to my LBS as I know they dont have Campy tools...

Those are the 86.5x41 cups. And the cups needed to fit UT cranks to the C60 ThreadFit BB. Cups in cups.

Kinda hard to find at the moment, no?

I installed the Parlee PF-30 cups and am about to do the Campy over torque cups for a new crank. As long as you are not pressing directly onto the bearings, like For a BB-30 install, I think any press will do. I have a Park. Only if I were directly pressing bearings in would think about investing in The Campy inserts for their cups.

As recommended by Campag NA, antisieze and a HS press is fine.
