As do I.

What rims?

Those will surely build up into a great set of wheels. I'd like to see the bike that's getting the purple hubs too.

I don't particularly care for the shape of the ND side of the rear WI hubs. Maybe different aesthetically once built into a wheel. That said I'd happily ride a set if I had em. I stare at my stem more than my rear hub :)

Unior.

Just bought it, so no real experience with it, we'll see. I've built not a ton of wheels but a definite few and always used a three sided park wrench, this is my first exposure to a 4 side wrench.

I realize this puts me firmly in the minority, but I hate their logo etching on the hubs.

Love the purple though.

I agree. That said, I do have a pair of wheels with those hubs, albeit in silver, that I am very happy with.

love the color, as far the ND side of the rear hub, that's so the bearing can be placed as far from the center and there isn't any unsupported axle. Less chance of the end cap rubbing the housing as the bearing wears. It's going to look cool.

Definitely too busy. Have a pair of their original FW hubs that only have the logo in the middle. Just right.

Purple does rock and AG made a good choice here.

As someone often accused of being stuck in the '90's, those hubs, in purple are so so '90's. And I love 'em.

I've tried a bunch of spoke wrenches, including the one pictured...and have always gone back to the standard Park black, 3 sided, wrench. 4 sided are hard to get on/off sometimes, IMHO. Great for alloy nipps(I use a DT one for that) tho.

Have fun tho-nice hubs. Why the washers tho? Rim washers? What rim?

Where did you get that? It would be nice to have in the tool box for those times an alloy nipple decides it doesn't want to turn. Otherwise, I'm with Peter. I grew up using the Park wrench and it just works.

The one next to the Campagnolo one is a Park 4 sided. Park SW-20. As is the Pedros..easier to find.

bikehubstore sells one - that's where i bought the spokes/nips/washers from.

just built the front wheel last night, and promptly tabled this wrench though, and went back to the trusty black park tool. just not a "fluid" feeling, trying to build with the 4-sided wrench and have to pull it down for off every time. no love from me on that one.

As to the Unior spoke wrench, I've had one of these for a while, really like it.

I like the Pedro's so you can swap between 3 and 4-sided as "needed".

I also like how the old park one wraps around the spoke, it's concave..like a Foster's Oil Can, feels good in the hand.

My magnetic strip for spoke wrenches is right above my trash can in my shop..I think I threw the Unior one away..by accident.

+1 I have a set in silver that I really like. Not so much in other colors.

I do not mind the logos at all, yes the king purple hubs are better looking imo but I like these as much.

I think the silver complements silver spokes nicely.

They are A2Z Titanium Skewers I got from the classified a while ago and never had a problem with them. The purple is very very close to the ck hub purple
