The return spring on my lever fell off. The screw must have backed out somehow. Was able to retrieve them, thankfully. I've been trying for about 1/2 hour to get that sucker back in but it is about impossible. Do I need to disassemble the brake lever in order to install? Not sure what brand it is, either.
Thanks.

EDIT: Ok, too impatient on my part, I guess. The lever needs to be disassembled. It's pretty easy to do. Just take out the pin holding the lever on. Screw the spring back on, but not all the way. The screw holds that pin in place, so you won't be able to reinstall the pin if you screw it in all the way. On this lever, there were two plastic washers on either side. Spit holds them on during assembly good enough. Maybe grease works better. Slide the pint back on, then tighten the screw. Come to think of it, should have put some beeswax or teflon tape on the screw.
